So here I am, awaiting the birth of my first baby - Due Wednesday this week and I thought I'd get back to researching my family tree. It seems apt given this time in my life, but also I've lost touch with the contacts I made some time ago, so I need to research these and get in touch again.
I had a brainwave of putting together a profile for the people in the tree as much as I could by getting a local guy www.treasuredmemories.co.uk to scan photographs and slides for me and I can write in any details about the people in the pictures. This will then bring it to life and make it more substantial for others to take over at a later date.
Oh I'm getting excited now. I have to go back to the start and look into it all again.
